Phillip A. Stone
Phillip Stone was raised in Conway, Arkansas and graduated from Conway High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's of Business Administration. He received his Juris Doctrate degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law where he graduated cum laude. Phillip Stone's practice areas include business planning and litigation, domestic relations, probate, estate planning, and personal injury litigation. He is also a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Ouachita County. He is licensed to practice in Arkansas and Texas (license inactive) and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas and the Eastern District of Texas. Stone is a member of the Union County Bar Association and the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association.
Phillip is married to a native of El Dorado, Courtney (Smart) Stone. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
R. Jeffrey Sawyer
Jeffrey applies an array of legal experience to his practice. Prior to moving to El Dorado, Jeffrey practiced law in Memphis, Tennessee. There his focus was civil litigation, and he has successfully litigated cases involving contract disputes, loan defaults, hospital bills, automobile repossessions, insurance subrogation, promissory note defaults, credit cards, lines of credit, and defense of counter-claims in courts all over Tennessee and Mississippi. His clients included hospitals, building supply companies, food distributors, advertising agencies, credit card companies, banks, and lawyers.
Jeffrey began his legal career in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. There he represented clients in commercial and residential real estate closings, estate planning, contract disputes, landlord/tenant issues, and was a court appointed attorney in domestic cases. Jeffrey is licensed to practice law in Arkansas and Mississippi. He also passed the Tennessee and South Carolina Bar Exams.
Jeffrey was born and raised in South Carolina. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina. He then attended law school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law where he earned top paper honors in Constitutional Law and Family Mediation. Jeffrey is married to a native of El Dorado, Angela (Templeton) Sawyer. He enjoys playing golf, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.
